good stuff

got high hopes for this lad as Ledley is literally on his last legs and has been for awhile

now can we please get in a CM and I'll be happy. Still mad we missed Cana and for 5mil he could be the signing of the season, we'll probably go in for him next summer and Sunderland will want 15-20 mil for him lol

Brillant stuff - my first choice realistically speaking. I reckon it will be a bargain in the long term. Still a lot of debating as to whether he will be missing our first game or first two games. Whats the craic, SSN reporting he is suspended for our first two, but surely Villa counted as one.

Yes Keano, we will probably be chasing Cana next summer!!! 5 mil looks good business for the mackems.

Funny feeling that Harry will go for Cattermole, if he can get him for a semi reasonable price.

My first impression is that he is so eager to play for Spurs.
Let's hope hes going to be a good edition to the future Premiership winners .. so called .. Spurs.

Chuffed to bits, solid defender.

Albeit it was £8mill, its still not a bad piece of business. What proven PL defenders go for less than £8mill (at the age of 23) ?

Oh flip it, he's suspended for the first two games!!

So, defence problem is still in effect...

Never to sure about a defender who's just helped a side get relegated having said that he was probably one of their better players last year. My only real memory of him is him getting turned by bent at the lane and him pulling bent back and not getting sent off for it ,so at least he's a lucky so and so.
Hope he does well.

One thing I must mention is that this year in the transfer window we seem to be targeting our needed areas as opposed to just buying any one with a baby face as we normally do.

I'm liking it , I'm sure it will pay off .

I doon't understand why we didn't wait until Sunday to make this move. Had we done so, he'd be eligible to play against Hull, which will be vitally important, because I doubt Ledley will be fit enough for matches against both Pool and Hull in 3 days.

I agree, but suspect that we were worried if someone else were to enter (Shitty) the negoitating ring!
