If we flog JJ and don't replace him with someone of similar attributes then we won't have a box to box midfielder.
He gets criticised alot and i've criticised but when he isn't there we do miss his energy.
Lets hope we replace him with someone of similar attributes but with more quality if he does go.

Theres no way we should sell Jenas to Villa unless we get Young as part of the deal. If we cant get young we should sell him to Inter.

By the way that **** MON has a cheek on him to bid for our players (hes apparently bid for hutton as well) and refuse to listen to our offers for Ashley Young! lol

We would definitely need a quality replacement if he goes.
Also wonder who's going to replace Wilson when he suspended/ injured.

I've been one of the most frustrated people around regarding JJ, but with the current state of affairs with the transfer market I'd resist selling him out of pure common sense.
It doesn't look like we're going to be bringing in any major players this summer now, and with Zokora already gone that means that next season will see us with Palacios, JJ, Hudd and O'Hara (who may go to Fulham) left for CM. That's not enough quality competition or depth for those positions, and if JJ and O'Hara leave then that leaves Pal and Hudd, potentially Modric and Corluka as well.
That's not good enough, so flogging JJ would be foolhardy, as a watercarrying, versatile CM in the squad will be more than vital. Yeah, ok we should sell him if we can get better, but the catch 22 is that we need to sell to buy, and what guarantee is there that we can sign a Cattermole, Cahill or additional Palacios type player before the window shuts? I'd be selling O'Hara or Hudd before JJ given our limitations in transfer funds and potential targets.
This is such a frustrating summer window.

I agree. If MON won't let us near his boys but we allow them to speak to JJ, doesn't that create the environment that we're the footballing equivalents of a whore:cursing: ?

Harry will not sell Jenas unless he is confident he can bring in better. He is far to experienced to make a rookie mistake like that.
Interesting to see if Jenas features tonight. Some say he has a strain or niggle or something.
