If MJ's advice inthis article is correct, then are we to believe that we are actually in the hunt for Duff? When all the Zokora rumours became rife an announcement was made on the Spurs website, sayin that we were in advanced discussions.

Who knows? We may all be surprised by a completely unexpected superstar signing. Or maybe not...

That's part of the fun when there's no real footie about. All these speculation help to whet the fans' appetite and we'll all be the more hungrier when the season finally opens. Does this smell conspiracy?

i think hes saying that we may have wanted Duff but Duff couldnt prove that he wanted what spurs are striving for as much as we need him to.
so to add to my advice on another thread, we want players not mercenaries, **** duff he doesnt want to be a winner bad enough else we'd have got him
