the title of your heading is provocative and it could start a masive row. You havent articulated properly so you'll need to explain yourself.
As much as I disagree with a lot of the stuff israel has done there is nothing wrong with promoting it as a tourist destination.
If arsenal had links with the military in any way shape or form then they'd get well and truly ripped.the media would be all over them and you wouldnt here the end of it.
As far ad I'm aware football clubs and politics dont mix but this isnt anything to do with politics its " a sponsorship deal to promote Israel as a tourist destination."
If you've got any evidence that its anything more sinister than I'll be happy to listen. Are they asking tourists to go to israel and visit the illegaly constructed settlements or is it the standard tourist stuff promoting tel aviv etc I imagine its the latter.
oh and I do hate arsenal but this isnt a reason to hate arsenal and it doesnt make them jewish!!
If israel/arsenal is in the wrong then bring it up but looking at the link its a non story.

The whole link is absolute nonsense. Do you think a team with a stadium called Emirates is going to be sponsoring the Israeli tourist board? If they can find a flight with Emirates to Israel I will eat my hat. It's either a wind-up a incredibly misinformed.

Actually the Goons have got a sponsorship deal with the Israeli tourist board. It's essentially because they have as many if not more jewish fans as us and they're all most upset that the Goons named their stadium after Arabic anti-Israeli states.

Would it be fair to say that Stamford Hill is roughly a half way point between WHL and Highbury/Emirates?.If so then it makes perfect sense that Arsenal would have just as many Jewish fans as us.
I think that we became the 'Jewish' club because of a large percentage of Jewish people moving to Stamford Hill from the East End in the early 1900's.This of course pre-dated the Goon's move from Woolwich to Highbury. But since there are now two North London teams (although we are the real thing of course) in close proximity to Stamford Hill, then sadly they can choose to support Arsenal over us.

I never knew that. So it's "Visit Tel Aviv but don't bother trying to book a flight there with Emirates".

I've said this on a number of occasions, and it is by no means a revelation on my part, that there are just as many Jewish fans of us and the Scum. When I was growing up all my mates and I were evenly split.
I'd hazzard a guess that Stamford Hill is actually a little bit closer to them. You could probably walk from there to the old Highbury ground in around 15 minutes. The actual Stamford Hill lot though are the hardcore, big beard, furry hat kind so their interest in football ranks lower than BLT's and listening to Cat Stevens.
The exodus from the East End fanned out all across North London. In areas like Woodford, Gants Hill, Chingford and so on it was more than likely they would have been Spurs fans or still remained Hammers fans (closest to East End).
