Who do you think will be our main penalty taker, for me first choice has gotta be keano, then we have defoe berbatov carrick and lennon anyone else?

My gut reaction would be Berbatov. I think he took them for Bayer, and it is a number 9's job - good for his confidence and boosts his goal tally.
I am assuming he has been given the 9 shirt?

It's gotta be Keano for me... He scored on every single penalty last season... Then after him it has to be berba and then Defoe, JJ, Davids.

If Keane plays, then it's him. Don't know much about Barbie, but would be hard to single out another sure-shot with our shot-shy form of last season.

as the germans dont miss penalties and it was still Berby who took them then he must be bloody good at them, so Keane it is then.

At the moment it would be Defoe for me, don't know enough about Berby.

Defoe is not as sure-shot as Keane in penal;ties.

You may be right mate but I just have a feeling that Defoe will be great next season and be our top scorer.

When every 1st teamer has gone on the scoresheet and if there's a match we're leading 5-0 with 5 minutes to go, I'd like to put Robbo up if we get a penalty.

yeah id love to see that, and hopefully against the scum in their new home

That's a good place for our goalie to score since Pat Jennings ogt one against Manure.

Depends who we are against as it is somewhat disrespectful. Of course we should do it vs Arsenal, but not too sure who else.

I don't really think it's disrespectful as we're then after some sort of record.

that should be about the fourth or fith game of the season then ,
but seriously on the penalty taker issue ,if he's on the pitch it's gotta be keano he's scored some preasure kicks in the past and i feel confident when he steps up .he did miss one at the lane last season against sunderland i was at the game and blame my self for him missing .
btw .we won that game

Has to be Keano for me, but if the Berbanator is good, lets see him take 'em!
For my team I was penalty taker last season, I missed 4 out of 6. Suffice to say, I am no longer the no.1 taker!

Funnily enough, despite his excellent penalty record, I am never confident with Robbie taking penalties. I'm always worried that he will decide that he is too talented to take a simple one and will instead attempt a bicycle kick or something of that ilk. Taino should take penalties when he's on the pitch although apparently Aaron takes a mean penalty (Sven take note).

Personally I hope Sven completely gorgets about li'l Lennon...he might try and buy him for whatever club he is going to go to.

Sven wouldn't know a decent player if one bite him on the arse. He's more likely to sign Wlacott on the basis that he hasn't seen him. Maybe we should tell Sven that Stateri is the best right back in the world, we'll jst tell him that's what Whinger thinks.

Like Lennon is gonna wanna play for Sven after the way he was treated during the WC!
