Not quite sure how reliable this source is. But I f*cking hope it is not true, Cisse is no better than Bent. Infact, If we are going for Cisse, then we might aswell keep Bent.

"Djibril will not remain at Sunderland after the season has finished. We have an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur for Djibril to sign a 12 month contract. He will sign for Tottenham", stated Ranko Stojic, the French strikers agent.

Hmm, I kinda like him, he's got big potential and suits the Harry style of play to run in behind with great pace and good movement, gets goals, heavy touch though. It does seem odd to be honest, if true.

However, I wouldn't write him off as a bad signing, could be very good. But I wouldn't buy him. Much prefer a mobile target man with a good touch or very strong.

replacing bent with the french version of bent!! apart from the bent we have at the moment is better than the french bent.. the french bent has seriuos attitude problems!!.

lol @ french bent.
I echo the majority opinion that it would be a bad signing...he has had severe broken legs in the past and just isn't prolific enough....he belongs in the lower tier of the EPL...a signing that Harry should have made at West Ham or Portsmouth. I think it's just idle speculation and Harry has his sights set much higher.

cisse is also 4 years older. I wouldnt mind cisse ON LOAN as a 4th striker if thats possible but definatly not as as a starter.

it would be a huge step backward... IŽd rather have Obika as 4th striker option than ****ing **** Djibril Cisse... :thumbdown:
