I'd agree with you that there is something going on with Ledley.I think you're right that something changed once he had that first injury.I also think that there is a drinking buddy at the club who is encouraging him to go off the rails.Personally,I reckon it's the Hudd,as there were lots of sightings of him and Lennon at some Essex nightclub.And we all know how badly Lennon's form dipped for such a long period.
Now this is only my opinion and there is obviously no proof but when you had senior players like Edgar Davids,there is no way that he would have let one of his team-mates behave like this.As the longest serving player at the club Ledley should be leading by example.
Perhaps this whole affair is a good thing.If he does have problems,they are now out in the open,the club can't ignore them and they have to help him.And any other bad apples must have their final warnings too.

Its just a guess really but King must of went through some dark times when he was out for so long with his knee injury, then getting news he can't train ect. Didn't the Aston Villa player Paul Mcgrath have the same condition and also had a drink problem? People who take pills regulary for an injury which causes alot of pain sometimes hit the bottle.
