I'm going to miss the game but it would be great if Hull picked up the 3 points today and that circus club went back down were they belong. Villa have been hit or miss lately and Hull have just been shit but you never know Villa have feck all to play for were as this game is a cup final for Hull.

so in short COME ON HULL!!!!!

I like Phil Brown and Hull, and I hate everything associated with Newcastle (except Les Ferdinand, David Ginola and Paul Gascoigne) so COME ON YOU TIGERS!!!!

not going to happen though :crying:

remember watching hull v villa and it was the shittest game I can remember watching for a long long time.

Hoof up field to nobody and then villa just smash it back down. Painful to watch. It should have been 0-0 because there was about 3 chances in 90 minutes and all 3 came in the last 5 minutes. Both teams only started playing in thelast 10 mnutes.

What was that saying valdano (reals technical director) came out with.

"Put shit hanging from a stick in the middle of this passionate, crazy stadium and there are people who will tell you it's a work of art. It's not, it's shit hanging from a stick."

A rather good description of what I watched a few months back. Andy gray wanking at the end after his villa put in a truly atrocious performance was hardly suprising.

I reckon it will be shit hanging from a stick. Villa are ****ing shit (4 points from 9 games) and hull cant buy a win (1 win in 18).

After saying all that it will probably be fireworks and a 4-4 draw after lampooning english footie again. :001_rolleyes:

the poocastle v boro game on setanta will be interesting to say the least. Winner will relegate the loser and a draw would be suicide for both. I'll go as far as saying if poocastle lose that game its curtains for them as a prem team for a generation. They'll capitualte on a leeds utd scale.

did you know next season championship clubs will recieve £3m in tv money cmpared to a minimum of £35m for a prem club.

Ouch:001_smile:

barcoes could do with their egos deflated a bit. A few seasons in the champioship fighting relegation and missing out on promotion should end all the big club talk.

It will be fun seeing them struggle to beat doncaster, barnsley and cardiff.

Ashley Young dives as soon as he gets into the penalty area. Ricketts didnt even touch him

and hull are doing a shit impersonationof stoke city. play some ****ing football instead of hoofing it every time you get. Villa arent much better they love crossing it at every possible oppurtunity.

Shit match and I wont be watching the second half. Only watched the first half to see if hull could hit them on the counter and get a goal. Hull have been ****ing hopeless cant string 2 passes together.

Hull, shitland, barcodes, boro and west brom should all be relegated its a shame only 3 will be.

I cant see the barcodes getting anything at villa park but if they get 6 points I cant see hull getting 4 points.

I'd like to see West Brom stay up, they've tried to play good football the whole season through, and have produced fantastically on occasions this season. I think (if they keep hold of their team) they will tear the Championship apart again when they go down.

It is very hard to call at the bottom of the table.Hull are on such a bad run that I can't see them winning again this season. That could be the lifeline that Newcastle are looking for.I don't care if Middlesborough stay up and Hull go down, just as long as Newcastle go down.
I am fully expecting a last day escape for the Barcodes though.

oh yeah I'd like them to stayup but they are undoubtedly the worst team inhte league.

They arent the worst footballing team though maybe midtable but I actually started to really like them after watching them play everton and villa off the park away from home.

Triffic footballing team but thats not enough.

Have you ever seen a relegation scrap where five teams are actually fighting to go down?

One of Middlesborough and Newcastle may stay up by virtue of the fact that they have to play each other, so one might win.

Knowing them they'll draw and lose the rest and Hull and Sunderland will lose all of them too.

They are all so shit. I don't even care anymore.

One really funny thing though is that Shearer didn't even get a honeymoon response. I'd say he's Steve Staunton shit as a manager.

I think they are even worse with him, as bad a clipboard. I'd say Joe would've kept them up for sure if he hadn't gotten a heart attack or even now if he came back.

Nearly every year.

I don't think so. I can't remember anything like this before. Usually the teams put on a bit of a push and pick up some wins, bib and bob a bit. This crowd are all just drowning, but two will be saved by virtue of the other ones being even WORSE.

I do think so. Teams are always surviving on the last day and many teams are still battling to sruvive with only a couple games to go. Remember west ham, wigan, sheffield united one year? Or what about Crystal palace a few years back when one minute they were safe in their final game of the season and next relegated. Pompey? West brom? Barnsley? Fulham? The bottom is always tight.

This year was so mad because the league table was tight over all for a number of months, now teams have a breathing gap so to stay up its between boro, newcastle, hull and at a push sunderland.

No you misread I said 'fighting to go DOWN'. As in they are all absolutely shocking and can't get a win for love nor money.

I know there are battles every year, but it is usually that one or more team steps up and frees themselves by picking up some wins.

This year it is just five teams drowning and see who is lucky to get saved by others.

When Newcastle play Fulham, what result do we want lads?.
A win for Newcastle will dent Fulham's hopes of seventh place.
A win for Fulham will further their hopes of seventh place,BUT will drop Newcastle further in the shit.
A draw seems to be the safe option, but is it?.

win for fulham itsa no brainer shelf.

Think about it europa league is 19 games if you want to win it:scared:
MON has been complaining his players get tired
Besty thing would be to smash the sky 4 next season remember the 40 game season

I want us to win every game we play but I also want fulham to win their games so they qualify.

If we finish 8th I'll be happy.

If fulham win newcastle are ****ed for a generation thats if there lucky. A firesale and battling to stay in the championship will be the new aim for the mighty barcoes. :001_smile:

Loved seeing Newcastle struggle. The players just didn't seem to want it. Never tried. No urgency for 90 minutes. Villa had the play of the ball and should've won by 3 or 4. The game was played at a snails pace and only ever lightened up by the counter attacking of the victorious Villans.

Cheerio Newcastle. Have fun in the Championship. See the unthinkable happen and all your players STAY with the club and struggle in Division Two, content on their over-inflated salaries and Northern lifestyle. Seriously, you see a League One S****horpe today battle their way to a promotion, you will struggle against a team like that. Best get Joey off his suspension you'll need his brother's Axe for some of the battles ahead. The Barton Brothers on day release in a formidable central midfield partnership made in hell.

End of the day, he's a coach, like Srbragia, who's stepped down today cos he can't cope with the pressure. You need to have a lot in the locker to be a prem manager. Hughton doesn't have it, which is why he was never Spurs manager.

Great coach though. Served Jol and previous managers very well.

I think that Newcastle have got real cause for concern with their wage bill and all those players that they paid way too much money for. How much will Coloccini and Owen fetch after Newcastle shelled out 10 and 17 million respectively? In fact, isn't Owen out of contract now? There are many players in their squad who will be leaving for considerably less than they were bought for, and I don't see how Newcastle will have enough money to build a team capable of coming back.
