some players you might be interested in

Piotr Trochowski - looks very similar to modric. Would be excellent back up. He was the outstandingplayer over 2 legs against man city.

Torsten Frings- not looking good so far. Looks off the pace and passinf is very sloppy.

Diego- hasnt really affected the game yet could form a partnership with keane playing in the berbatov role. pleat said "we nearly signed him"

decent game so far.

Come on Hamburg!!

Gotta love Diego though - he is absolutely brilliant - though Modric is on a par - I can't believe he plays for us :drool:

keep a close look out for Piotr Trochowski.

He would provide brilliant cover for luka and aaron. He seems to be the playmaker. Two good feet, manipulates the ball, can spot the killer pass and has that rare ability ti run a football game.

He roams around the pitch just like luka does for us.

Martin could you give him to us and we'll give you boateng, ghaly, rocha and zokora. Sounds fair to me. Or just give them £10m

olic nearly scored 1 on 1 goalie made himself big.

Hamburg look very dangerous on the counter.

Beautiful ball. Bremen are making it a great game now, they're coming back into it but staying so open :thumbup1:

Olic should have done so much better. He dithered and blew his chance.

that was close.

Why are hamburg so stretched? Its not like they are putting a lot of players forward. MJ needs to sort it out otherwise they'll concede a silly goal near the end.

not sure but it already hasand it was said on commentary last night, bad decision as Hamburg are on the up IMO

Yeah im suprised to hear that hes gone to Bayern especially seeing as how their without a manager right now. Hamburg are looking good and under Jol i can really see them pushing on over the next few years.

Olic does work very hard for the team, but I'm unsure about his finishing - he missed two good chances at least yesterday. He's a very good player though, defenders must hate playing against him.
