"Mido will do one no matter how tightly Martin Jol clutches that fetching ponytail. Lyon's John Carew could be the man to fill it, however, with a £4m bid being talked about"

Doesn't he have dodgy knees?

MStore

not sure but do remember he had a huge punch up with Riise before a Norwegian friendly against Portugal...

He failed a medical with Fulham when he was set to join them.

Not him please. He's slower than a rhino and clumsier. If we can't afford top level signings, stick Hammy in and let him develop.

It all hinges on wether or not we can offer champions league football next season. that is why it's so important to finish 4th. Too bad we couldn't sign Kuyt he looks quality.

i think jon carew would be a great signing if we couldnt get someone with a bit more quality i.e. flippo inzaghi, henrik larsson as all 3 have the relavent exp and wont be hanging around too long

carew used to be quick, not great control though, but a good team player. better than cisse anyway.

Larsson is going back to Sweden.

Was quoted the other day as saying 'my son is more scottish than anything else', THE SHAME!!!

Cisse is a great player (let's not start this again!)
But not for us...

Kuyt would be superb, I've seen him play and he's fantastic, he'd fit right in. he can play on the wing if needed too! He's supposedly a player that 'get's on with it'.
Or Vigic the giant, I keep hearing good things about him, he's a monster!

I would love to see Bent in a spurs shirt..

highlander

if were going for a younger player its got to be Kuyt of Torres, i think Bent is going to be a one season wonder plus if we splash out on Kuyt or Torees it would smash our transfer record and no longer have £11million flop rebrov hanging over our heads.

MStore

Kuyt and Torres are still be top of MJ's list but their availablity to us will be depenant on CL place or not - I think everybody else will on the contingency list

I just can't see us getting Torres, even if we get in to the Champions league.. Hopefully I'll be made to eat my words. Yum

Heard from a LFC source that Kuyt is closer to a move to them than us.

This has been floating around the news for a week and it will just be another agent getting his player in the shop window.

There is no way Rafa would bring someone in who is not Spanish. :p

I would love to see Berbatov at the club. 16 league goals this year and a great target man
