The Lilywhites could smash their all-time league record if they can keep West Bromwich Albion at bay on Saturday, and then Manchester City two weeks later.

That stands at 11 from the 1919-20 season in the old Second Division, although Spurs played two more home games in those days. The club's Premier League record is 16.

I have to agree actually, although the sterner test will be City if they recreate their performance against the Toffee's last week.
