Read today that Chelski are stalling over the transfer. We've offered £8m, they want £12m. I wonder why, given the difference probably represents Mrs Abramovich's yearly clothing bills .........could it be that they are not that keen on letting him go? Apparently he is Roman's favourite player (or he was, until Shevchenko pitched up).

Anyone read any updates on Chimpbondage? That's gone a bit quiet too.....

would rather have richards if he can play right back, might cost us a bit more than chimbo, but a great prospect and can play more positions. depends if we could allocate 6m for a right back to start with. Sell salty i reckon and lee should be ok to cover if not ifil.

Salty should being us 1-1.5 million, and we got him for nothing. While Richards may be versatile, he is essentially a CB and I'd like to see us invest in him as such. However, we need to buy a good specialised RB to really improve the team.

think we'd easily get 3m for salty, he played loads of CL in germany. Good bit of business really.
