I'm expecting us to give West Brom a good hiding, and Man City are inconsistent. They had a good day against Everton, but I think we'll have the better of them at home. Unfortuantely I can't see anything other than dissapointment from those two trips to merseyside.

You would change the entire 11 for Europa League??!?! That will do wonders for the confidence of players in the "Europa team" when they're called upon in the Prem for an injury - knowing that they are part of the B team :001_rolleyes:
Would be good for consistency as well :001_rolleyes:

the scum do it in the league cup.
oh and have you forgotten MON has been complaining the players get tired and he needs a bigger squad.
We have strength in depth and that B team would beat teams like dinamo. Always got the bak up to call upon if needed.

Arsenal don't care about the League Cup, so they can do that, but we care about the Europa League. And even they don't change the whole team, they leave 2 or 3 in there - and they play youngsters who know they have no claim to a first team place, not people who think they should/could be first teamers.
Yes O'Neill he wants a bigger squad, but he doesn't want two entirely different teams for two competitions! He just wants to be able to rotate a bit - but maybe you have forgotten that all of Villa's success (until late in the season when the players have tired because the squad is just too small) has come from having a consistent line-up, week in week out. Funnily enough, they started on a downward spiral after making wholesale changes for a Uefa cup game......

won 1-0 ?
what are your chances to qualify now??
at the moment WEST HAM UNITED jumped on the 7th place. unfortunately Fulham, Tottenham an Spurs have same number of points 44, places 8th, 9th, 10th. West Ham though has got some very difficult games !!

Will be a tight race but lets see how things turn out, we play man city next at home so a draw will be no good for both teams and you will tink whoever wins that will be favourites along with west ham to claim 7th.

we need 6 points in my opinion so we need to beat to cty at home and everton away.

Who do West Ham have? Because I think 6 points is deinitely viable - if City can win away at Everton then anyone can
