listen to frank

he's won some respect from me. Argues his case well and the DJ sounds a bit clueless.

Fair point i reckon!
I'd be the same, so good on him.

Yeah good on you Frank. The DJ sounded completely out of his depth and was clearly unexpecting any repurcution after his statements.
Franks gone up in my estimation after hearing this.

Agree with the above. Too many media people get away with saying what the hell they like to no consequences. Frank wasn't having it - top man for ringing him up and taking him out.

Agreed, I think he handled himself in a dignified manner and didn't rise to the accusations. He listened and didn't make assumptions about what was said or not. He was just defending himself and without sounding like a knob so good on him...

Yeah he did argue his case well and was quite articulate.
His ex-partner did the usual kiss and tell story in the tabloids and tried to paint Lampard as the bad guy. Then you get some rent-a-gob DJ trying to put the boot in and create an audience reaction about someone and a situation he knows nothing about.
So really I take my hat off to Frank Lampard. We have the worst media in the world here.Whatever he does on the pitch is fair game for praise/criticism.But off the pitch he is entitled to the same privacy as the rest of us.
For all the money that footballers earn, would any of us really like to have a family break-up played out in the media?.Or have people selling stories about how you are a nasty piece of work?.
Journalists that expose corruption in politics or government etc are to be applauded. But journalists that only know happiness through a celebrity dying, becoming a drug addict or having a family break-up are just pond life.

Good on you Lampard. This is what I would describe as cheap journalism.

Amen to that.

Unfortunately that is very rare and they mostly feed the propoganda machine of corruption.
The media worldwide are dispicable parasites, but worst in England I would say.
Fair play to Frank for dressing one of the clowns down. What ever people say about Frank (not talking about the recent rumours, which I'd say are cock), he's someone who has made a good life for himself through hard graft. Compared to these clowns he is 100 times the man.
It'd be great if everyone read things and straight away recognise that it may be total rubbish and not jump to any conclusions.
The sad thing is the media, government get away with this shit because most people have no idea how things are, aren't properly aware or don't have the intelligence.

Not up to your usual standard. Basic spelling mistakes (propaganda/despicable) presumably typed in the heat of the moment, and a Daily Star opinion. Lampard is a nob. Just because he calls a radio station does not exempt him from the charges.

I thought it was very funny how at the beginning the DJ was talking over him and you could tell he thought 'dumb footballer I will humiliate him'. One minute later he was owned. Frank is a bright, articulate man and pretty brave to be that open and honest on a radio station. Good on him.

Yes, I was in a hurry knew it was wrong and didn't stop to think. But what ever, you knew what I was saying!
I'm not a Frank fan. I think he's arrogant and overated as a player. However, he went up a lot in my estimations as a man after listening to that.

And I was pissed and in a facetious mood after watching that Old Trafford disaster.....

I'm heartbroken for Frank, especially when he was still with his misses he had two slushpuppies touching his nob which ended up being pictured in the paper. Oh what about leaving a hotel with another bird at a hotel?:001_rolleyes: Did I say he was father of the year.:001_rolleyes:

does it really matter what a footballer does in his private life
he's been a class act for a long time and is an example of how to maximise your talent.

someone also told me today that it was the anniversary of his mum's death, and his sister, obviously upset as it was, happened to turn on the radio and hear her brother being slated......
Puts a slightly different complexion on it
