Jenas is likely to be a big factor in Saturday's crunch clash, particularly if he is reunited with Wilson Palacios in the centre of midfield.

The pair recently started seven league games in a row together, and it was no coincidence that Spurs harvested 14 points from those matches, taking them clear of relegation and into contention for Europe.

Palacios was suspended against West Ham, and Jenas' hamstring injury ruled him out of Sunday's 1-0 victory over his old club, Newcastle.

But the dynamic duo are both in line to start in Manchester, and Jenas is enthusiastic about his embryonic partnership with the £12m Honduran.

"I'm really enjoying playing with him. He's brought a little something different, which might help my game a little bit, I don't know, but we seem to be playing some better football as a team," added Jenas.

"I'm enjoying the partnership, and I think a lot of midfielders wouldn't want to be coming up against me and Wilson. We're both strong, quick, dynamic players and we've got a lot of energy, so we cause teams a lot of problems.

"Obviously his English isn't great, just as my Spanish isn't great, but we both understand football, and I find him very easy to play off. I know when he's going and I know when he's going to sit.

"We're both very up and down, box to box midfielders and it's great to have that. It must be nice for the likes of Ledley [King] and Woody [Jonathan Woodgate] to have in front of them.

cant disagree with him he's upped his game and the PARTNERSHIP with palacios is looking good.

However I still hold the opinion mod would be better than JJ in the middle but I'm happy to see mod and JJ both playing well in their positions.

Ity will be interesting to see if harry will try and get an upgrade on JJ. I'd like de la red i think he could be our alonso.

He was brilliant against Chelsea, but the upturn in team form is far more to do with the introduction of Keane and Palacious to make two areas a lot better in what was required.

Let's not forget how awful Jenas has been for years without Palacious, but I do accept he has started to improve with Pal beside him showing him by example and so on.

Who ever Palacious plays with he helps. Next year having a serious player beside him could make all the difference and another step in the improvement.

But listen I don't want to knock a lad that is clearly improving. He always had the potential. We saw it against Chelsea, certainly wasn't hiding like he normally does, and was better in other games recently too, so let's just hope it continues.

could be a late developer like lampard and turn into a worldbeater in a couple of years :001_rolleyes:

I'm still anti JJ but if carries on performing like this then he we might not need an upgrade.

I have to stick images in aswell as gather research from other photographers, I then have to relate/compare their work to my own work, I also have to include information based on the features, camera angle and brightness/contrast of each image displayed in my book. I also have to display a detailed introduction based on the topic I done.

but i'm sure you knew all that
