according to SSN we have lodged an offer for nedved. i've heard people say he can play wide left but i can't see him playing off the strikers with defoe and keane already doing it. doesn't really add up to me. Anyone know if he can play wide left, thought he was right pegged.

Yeah he can play on either flank and has been doing so at club and international level for some time. He's comfortable using both feet, this would be an amazing coup for us.

He can play anywhere across the midfield, he's one of the best midfielders around and it would be fantastic if we could get a player like him to spurs. He got almost all qualities that you can expect from a midfielder, but most important of all, he trains more then any other player and could be a very good role model for some of the young players in this club... I've heard Zlatan say that he starts pre season a week before everybody else, practising his shooting and working on his fitness level.. And that he often stays an hour or so after training practising with himself...
It would be a BIG coup if we could get him to spurs...

it would be great if we could sign Nedved, i must admit i doubt it will happen but if nobody else comes in for him then you never know. if we signed davids last summer then why not nedved this

I think we have as good a chance as anyone - I think alot of clubs will be put off by his age, but that shouldn't stop us offering him a 2/1+1 deal. I think he'd bring a new dimension to the attack and more importantly brings the experience of playing in Europe (and winning things..) that our young team have yet to gain.
If nothing else, he'll be a great role-model for our young stars..
BRING HIM ON!

Nedved Carrick/Jenas Zakora Lennon

Similar sort of buy to Davids last season..... a top international player which can bring quality and experiance to the squad... that would a quality buy... he's still got a season or so left in him

According to Nedveds agent its us,Monaco or Arabia, that i think makes us odds on favourites.Goodness knows what his wages will be.

Maybe Davids could persuade Nedved to sign, they both played in the Juve side thats won serie a countless number of times and being an ex team mate might be able to talk him into coming to Spurs.

This would be terrific for us. Nedved has been one of my all time favourites for years and years now. It always feels good when one of your favourites joins your club, like when Robbie joined us and he was one of my fav young strikers.
I would like him to start along side carrick or zokora in the centre, now that Duff may be on the left, and take the role that Jenas had last year, only he'd be 100 times better! (Not sure if i'm alone thinking JJ is over-rated)

Not only that, but a lot of people are saying that Nedved's agent has only come out with this story to try and get the "big guns" to come out and get him, and make more money. Would love to see Nedved at the Lane, butI don't think it's gonna happen!

I don't care about Nedved. Tomas Rosicky would have excited me, but he's gone to ****in scum. Gutted.

I'd have to agree with you, especially as the Duff talk is seemingly credible enough for the BBC to pretty much announce it. Agent talk is the fools-gold of transfer gossip - designed to stimulate interest and falsely whet fans appetites..
