Harry didn't want him called up, so how come he allowed him to be made available? Doesn't this make it a little bit embarresing for poor Ledley? He possesses amazing character and strength, but it's a pyschological blow he should and could have been spared by our manager pulling a Fergie and simply saying "no way, he's not available for you. Toss off!"

Told ya. Sod England and the FA, third rate jumped up nothings that they are.

Persoanlyl I think we should all bow down to the alter that is Ledley, he himself asked not to be picked, that's how much he cares.

Ledley, King for life.

I think Capello saw his performances lately, thought there the possibility of a con and just wanted to look at his knee himself. I can't really blame him to be honest.

This just proves how stupid the FA are, Harry told Stuart Pearce that he has no cartillage in his knee and he can only play every saturday and not train during the week. So these numpties call him up so they can check him themselves as if we're making all this up!:001_rolleyes:

Woody should of been called up instead.

I'd be surprised if this hasn't hit Ledley hard. He's been through dark days, finally played more than 30 in a season (I think? Its been loads anyway) but must have thought England was too much. Then he got the call but its been ripped away again.

Talksport have been on this all day, most agreeing (Ian Wright especially!) that if there was no injury he'd be pushing JT and RF all the way, but this call up is probably just a challenge to the Lescotts, Upsons, Jagielkas to up their games because Capello goes on form everytime.

I'm not complaining. King needs to be ready for the Blackburn game.

I don't know how the king does it...he must be one of the fittest people in England if he doesn't train! An enigma!!!

I am glad he is back at spurs on his swimming regime. Actually, maybe that is all you need to train!
