expected him to go as couldn't see him breaking through. Signed for 3 years but doesn't say how much for. Should be more than yeates tho so my guess 750k - 1m. Think he'll probably make the prem grade when he has more experience.

It's good we can get something back for the resources we've put into his development. That will also add something to our transfer funds.

He wouldn't be able to get a place in the starting 11 so it's fine that we gave him the chance to get something out of his career.. But it's a bit sad to let a player that has played most of his life for spurs go....

honestly we all knew he wouldnt make it but i think we all liked him if not for his 2 goals against everton but for the fact he's been around forever. good luck to him

Same problem when you buy so many players, most of the youngsters do not progress, good luck to Dean for his future.

I'd like to remember for his 2 goals.

I was at the New Year's Day game, and will forever remember him for that game, singing on the way home, "There's only one Dean Marney!"

Good Luck Dean!

If the young ones develop properly, in another 3 seasons, we'll have so many stars on our hands that we could possibly sell a couple for top money.
