Seriously, this guy is ****in deluded.
Charlton in the same league as spurs? Spurs a middle of the road club? Not only is this insulting to us as fans, but an attempt to detract from the fact that we are now moving on and signing star quality. If we're in the same league as Charlton (not literally, coz we both in PL) then why didnt Berbatov or Zokora, for example, sign for them??? And as for Iain Dowie.....One-season wonder anyone?!?
Let's do the double over these no-hopers this season.

I think he's missed the last 2 seasons lol.... but Charltons season does end at the end of December....
He must of missed the last day season battle for the 4th CL spot... how Charlton gonna do in Europe this season??
Yeah the middle of the road club just splashed out around 20mil on top goalscorer from the Budasleaga and Zokora.....
and remeber Dowie isn't worthy of tiying Jols shoes!!

All Dowie's done as a manager is take Palace up in 6 months....and nothin since. Just undid his work by taking them back down and failing to emulate himself. Charlton fans should be worried I think.....

charlton looked really poor last year i have to say, probably the worst team at the lane for me. Even pants boy murphy wanted out. Think they will struggle this year especially if bent leaves.

hey marcusto, getting to the lane from the channel islands must be a nightmare. Do you have your own spurs massive there?

yep ive never been to the Lane... never been able to afford it.... it normally cost about £150 to get off the Island and then u got Hotels and everything else on top of that.... So its like 1/3 of your wages gone on a 2 day trip...
The good thing the local I go to named the White Hart normally has alll the Spurs games on.. and there is a big Spurs following over here

I have the same problem, except on a smaller scale, being from swansea. Hoping to go to either Internazionale or Sociedad match though, ticket availability permitting.

fancy having your local called the white hart. that's destiny that is. Can you pal up with a spurs fan from london and crash there for a night. either that or enter every talk sport and MOTD goal of the month competition so you get match tickets and hotels thrown in. have to do the pilgrimage some time. before they ship us out to wembley lol.

My mates who were in London, were Chelsea fans... and the abuse I get from them....
Now I decided to go to Canada for a year... so hopefully 07/08 season I will finally go to WHL

"I really believe for the next year or two - if we are in the Premiership, which we are planning to be - then we are as good a place as any."
Clearly the kind of thing the chairman of a top 4 side would say...
What a pleb..

Sorry Charlton, but you're two seasons late. TIme was that we would have had to grudgingly admit that we were on your level in terms of everything but history. Not so now - just take a look at our squad, see who we've signed and see who we get linked with. Were Charlton one of the teams seriously chasing Berbatov's signature? Or Zakora's? I don't think so..
Quite frankly, you are welcome to Bent - I think he's another Armstrong in the making, but when you go down and you're forced into a fire sale, think back at when you could still command inflated Premiership prices for your best players. You won't be getting anywhere near ten million for Darren Bent then, I can assure you... Although having said that, I believe Newcastle are interested, so maybe you are right to be asking 16m..those barcodes really do know the cost of everything and the value of nothing.
