what was that then? goal off the back of the head, deflected shot, then ref gets in the way blocks a spurs pass, they break and score.

jammy scummy f*uckers

townsend looks a quality player

townsend was impressive tonight, thought the game was played at a tremendous pace, poor lad getting cramp in both calf muscles at same time, ref did not give much our way tbh, no rolling around a la ronaldo, credit to both sets of players although the jammy feckers won it

Great entertaining match. Expected much more from Bostock and Parret. Was impressed with Townsend, Mason and Caulker. Well played lads, shame we seemed to run out of steam towards the last few minutes.

Just got back from the game wit my pal and the kids, the paxton was basically field with familys whilst the scum brought there hardcore fans. Giving it like there fvcking charlie big bollocks. SCUM.

Our youth side didn't perform and the one upfront didn't work against an arsenal youth side that move like there first team. They deserved it but our big players didn't perform in bostock, smith, parrett, kasim and obika. Townsend is a left footed lennon and 9 times out of ten beat he's man, a star in the future.

Gutted about the result was heart breaking to be fair with there scummy fans giving it to the familys. Our boys are better than that and got punished.

Shame.

do we even bother to coach these kids because the parallels with the seniors was ****ing scary.

1. shit at defending defending pieces
2. lack of stamina leading to tirdness late on
3. gaps between midfield and obika was huge. A bit like watching bent with a five man midifeld behind him. Felt sorry for obika
4. the entire creative burden was placed on a young winger (townsend I think).

If you are a youngster there really is no point in coming to spurs because the basics just arent taught and you just end up with a dysfunctional team. A real shame because I did flickers of genuine talent.

The goons on the other hand looked to pass it quick and looked a lot fitter than us. Not really suprised lennon and daws have had to endure spells of underachievement due to to poor coaching.

We got them thrown out of the ground , most of the people there was parents and little kids and they came for a fight , and this is why they are such disgusting pieces of shit on the way out we saw a few of them getting banged over by our lot and I'll admit I recognized one of the twunts who got lary and kicked him in his chest I know two wrongs dont make a right but you don't throw stuff at little kids , but the police did naff all anyways out of the stadium.

wilshire will develop into a top player under wenger I've seen him a couple of times and he reminds me of paul schokes:sad:

Bostosk had a poor game but by all accounts he is very highly rated. To put it into context its the first time he has played at whl and despite playing badly he wouldnt be the first to have a poor debut at whl. Remember corluka and mod noth looked poor and now look at them!

Patience turkish the players need to work bloody hard and hopefully the talent will shine through. Its a shame the coaching isnt as good as the scum have but thats to be expected really.

most of you havn't realised that almost all the scum players where 2nd year academy players (18 already & over.. making them a year more expierienced than most of ours which at this age can be huge & it showed last night.... players such as bostock, caulker, mpuko, butcher, cox & mason have another year at least at under 18s & to top it all probably our 2 best players have been injured for a while & where unavailable... (jake livermore & danny rose)... we even had a 15 year old.. albiet a very special 15 year old (oneyengu) on the bench.
the good thing is... most of these kids are not just english but local!!. obika & mason from edmonton... townsend's from walthamstow & cox is from hackney.

They say this is the best youth team we've ever had. Levy has made a very concerted effort to try to make Spurs like Ajax for bringing through talent.

We will hopefully be seeing the fruits of that in the next few years when these lads start to come through. Hopefully Commolli will have done this part of his job better than he did scouting for the first team because he bought all these kids.

It was 50% of his job we are told under Levy's instruction to build a proper academy that will feed the first team in the coming years. So if he did well and if they are groomed well by the coaching staff and technique is encouraged over winning games now, then it will hopefully lead to a line of good players coming through.

I'm sure he was bought for two or three positions. I think he can play well at right back but is a central player by his attributes.

I think he's only a good right back because he has so much darn ability. Surely a lack of pace is a great handicap at right back, but often isn't a problem in central areas when you can read the game and have the comfort and ability on the ball he has.

Its obvious to me and you but some fans wont see it unless its pointed out by the media or he plays there regularly.

Insulting people, putting people down, calling names, etc is not acceptable on these forums. If you don't like a thread and/or feel that it is redundant, don't post in it.

if you dont like what I have to say ignore it. Is suggesting corlukas best positionn is centre back something to get "wound" up" about.

Corluka and Dawson were the centre back pairing for the home game against man u in the prem and it also finished 0-0.

Choda also shares my opinion so I'm not exactly alone on this point of view.

I think the bold text highlighted is something that wont be tolerated on here unless the rules allow for "insulting people, putting people down, calling names". You've done all 3 in one post and in the previous post told me to f.uck off.

I dont really care what opinion you have about me and you can carry on hoping that I get banned because the irony is your behaviour towards me could lead to a ban for you.

Corluka has played lots of games in the centre mate for City, for Spurs and that's his position for the last six months for Croatia. He's been performing excellently in those games too.

The position he has only played two games in that I've heard of is central midfield and by all accounts he was sensational. I think looking at his attributes, reading of the game and sheer level of ability to get on the ball and make things happen so easily this could actually be his best position.

I don't think it's out of order to think he's close or on a par with Modric for ability. One is a gifted playmaker the other is often described as a defensive Berbatov and MALDINI is mentioned by Milo.

I think he's extremely talented alright. When he comes forward centrally and links up with other players I think that's when he is at his very best. That is when he's not taking the ball off someone or easing them away with his ability, before they've even realised what has happened.

I'm not really comfortable with him at right back, not because he isn't very good there, but because I don't think it brings the best out of what he is good at and he can get exposed for pace in a position that is so much about pace.

I think its a right waste, especially when you see Jenas running a lot but really hiding, not taking responsibility and giving half baked nothing performances every week.

I have nothing wrong with opinions but I'd love to know how many games you and Choda have watched 90 mins of Corluka centre back or centre mid...I'm guessing not many!

I don't care if that's what you think an in fact I actually think he could be very good in centre mid over Jenas. Not good at centre back unless someone is with him that can compensate for his extreme lack of pace.

As a right back he's not good going forward, he slows down things down far too much, he gets roasted by anyone quick, he makes occassional mistakes and overall does not accompany Lennon well!

Berbs used to be called berbs, but then Berbatov left. So berbs needed a new name, and he made a poll, the options including "berps" and "berpric". People voted, but suddenly he was called berbzy g :sneaky2: At the time I recall he said that he was thinking of names that were similar to berbs, whilst listening to Ali g, and thus a name was born. So the story goes :001_smile:

2. burn

An exclamatory response, generally used by a third party after someone has just received an insult.
"She said you had a small penis? Oh, BURN!"

3. Burn
