Helda Postiga - Remember him. Couldn't hit a barn door for Spurs yet helps put England out of Euro 2004.

Mathew Etherington _ couldn't beat an egg when a Tottenham player, having a great season with West Ham.

Peter Crouch not considered good enough for Tottenham now a starter at Liverpool and on the verge of playing in a world cup.

Fredie Kanoute - OK as a Spurs player but lighting up La Liga

Who else was crap or mediocre when they played for us then became an overnight footballing genius when they left and WHY?
Do you blame anyone at the club?

I Blame a string of shite managers that couldn't get the best out of Ronaldo if if had signed for us. look at what Wenger has done with his players. It pains me to say that but we havn't had a quality manager for some time.

Luke Young.. hmmm, England right back, Charlton captain... fair play.

There again, Spurs reserves could take down the Charlton first team, right? :D

i think the biggest signiture guff was David Beckham. he was a trainee at spurs and when he was outside the then manager terry venables' office. when beckham entered the office he was due to sign a proffessional contract but venables dropped a packet of peanuts or crisps and out of embarrasement sent beckham away without a contract and he then went and played for some northern team but never really amounted to anything

He likes to sit in the same place as Carrick, and Carrick is better.
