Me and my brother would like to visit the match against BRFC at Ewood. Can you tell me if I have a chance of getting tickets for the away stand for this match? Im not a member of the club. I contacted Blackburn and they told me there will be plenty tickets available on the matchday. What is your experience? Can you please give me some advice? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the information. I think Ill book a hotel in Manchester. Blackburn doesnt seem like a nice place to stay for a whole weekend. Do you agree with that? And I suppose its not a very long journey from Manchester to Blackburn.

Theres a 5 star hotel in mellor which is close to blackburn!
however nightlife and food 10 times better in manchester!
It doesnt matter where you stay in manchester as long as laterooms.com says its within 2miles from the city centre.
I think the trains from blackburn also end up in victoria station rather than piccadily therefore may have a bearing on if you want to stay closer to that station!
i think i should try and get to this game too and hoping there are tickets at the turnstiles. I remember wigan away end is easy to get tickets on the day!

Someone's been winding you up I'm afraid. The best thing about Manchester is leaving it.

In what way is Lancashire the North EAST?!? It's barely the bleeding north for a start and is most certainly in the WEST!
Bloody southerners... :001_tongue:

Is it really that easy to get a ticket for Blackburn? Just get one on the door? The Rovers OS says the tickets are £28 at their most expensive (would more likely be £20 for a normal one)
I may just pop over myself then, it's only 2 hours down the M62 from me!

I wold imagine that for twenty eight of your British pounds sterling you would also be able to procure a whole row of terraced houses in the Lancashire area. Although obviously your second hand ticket will fetch a higher return in four years time.

Technically a row of terraced houses in the Lancashire / West Yorkshire area would constitue one house anyway as they've all had their internal walls knocked through by the central-asian families who live in them... SO your £28 would get you the uber-family's abode and their G reg BMW 5 series.

I make no judgements on people of central-asian descent. I merely find their living arrangements hilarious. Thank you.
