This quote is from Spurs official web site...
Harry Redknapp declared himself satisfied with the performance - particularly defensively - after Thursday night's 2-0 reverse against Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Cup.
Particulary defensively ??? WTF is that ??? Is this a joke ??.... How the **** can he be satisfied with that crap performance from yesterday night...
If he rates our yesterday performance as a positive one, than we´re in MASSIVE trouble....

Take these things into account Denis pal, we had a mishmash team out, we had a young lad out there and we were drawing 0.0 with one of the top sides in Europe away from home.
We had a team that hasn't played together and Harry needs to be positive so he can get the players upbeat ahead of our game against Hull which is a million times more important than the Uefa cup.
Spurs fans slagged Ramos off for playing a strong side in Europe and not concentrated on the league but when Harry does the opposite the fans still moan.
Looking at the circumstances during yesterdays game and I would agree with Harry.

Defensively we were excellent - especially Dawson, who is our player of the season.
Gomes ****ed up, and by the second goal we were just too demoralized.

yeah we were defensive
all the way through apart from nearing the end
gomes ****ed up
2nd goal they shoulda closed him down
but all the way through especially dawson
stopped the goals from happening
and its true
they were a champions league team, 3rd in their divison
and won their last 7 or something games???
wasnt the best team....

I thought it was a good defensive display. Gomes hardly saved any shots after all, and other than a slightly shaky, backs to the wall period in the first half, we looked comfortable really.

Do people really think we defended well? I thought first half we were all over the shop, some great last ditched tackles but overall I felt we were poor.
The two goals, poor clearences and not pushing the defence up.
But away from home with a make shift defence I suppose It was always going to be difficult.

It wasnt shit cos we weren't conceding. You aren't giving us enough credit against what is clearly a very good side...their own fans were booing them cos we were frustrating them.

Arry had no other options but to play a weaker team. Our top priority is premiership survival, anything else will be a bonus. I think that the team performed quite well last night, considering we kept them at bay until Gomes's blunder, thereafter the confidence tended to sink.

we played ok with the mish mash team but i would have liked to see harry go 4-4-2 with bent
we needed an away goal to make sure that we would have a good chance.
now we have to go gung-ho at the lane

I've lost all respect for gomes not because of the howler that happens and we shouldnt have gave away a stupid free kick anyway and the marking was non descript
But the way he stayed down like he's been shot in the face the guys hand scrapped his chin and it was like he was blinded

I know...I couldn't beleive it, but he was petrified of being vilified again for another error, if he could con people into beleiving he was fouled, then it would be ok for him. I don't beleive he's a bad guy, despite Stan ****ymore's character assassination. He could talk - kickin Ulrika Jonsson in the face is a commendable act, but hardly one that allows him to pass judgement on others.

Was Gomes play acting? I honestly don't believe he was unless there was clear evidence that he wasn't touched. The reply I saw yesterday showed Gomes out of camera angle which you couldn't come to any conclusion if Gomes was indeed touched.

Yeah, I mean, maybe he jerked his neck when he hit the floor or something
I can going to see if Collymore has ever dived now
What a **** at the end of the C5 show. Pat Nevin calmly suggests that it getting through might be too much for us, but old Stan, he has no doubts
'Spurs OUT, Villa maybe, City through'
**** off back to Bradford - did he ever win a single trophy?

I think we just saw him completely collapse mentally. The chap turned it around and Harry went and brought another keeper in who looks now like first choice. Gomes knows the bad times are around the corner, and despite being promised a carling cup final appearance who knows now!?

Stan's a monster tw*t at times, God love'm.
He was even on Jeremy Kyle, lol. Never a good sign. And Kyle was calling him one of the best of his generation.
He was very good for a while, but come on.

how does Collymore being an undischarged bankrupt have any bearing on football?...or Spurs..
As for his financial status ...he had some poor advice which he challenged in Court and was awarded damages against.
As for his alleged status...it might stop him getting credit above a certain limit or holding certain corporate or business postitions..as opposed to beind 'discharged'...
But again I fail to see why we should be jumping up and down over someones
credit status just cos he didn't lick Spurs arses....we love to pick on anyone who we think is picking on us...
I know Harry has a mandate to keep us up...but to do that we need a winning mentality at the club..ok chop and change if you dont think we can win the uefa cup etc...but ive always maintained in sport or life you go out to win every time...cos in the backs of their minds that Spurs team was playing at best for a draw and I bet more than a few felt a loss was on the cards....
over the last few years we have talked about players,in and out, mangers in and out,the chairman, slagged other players, managers, clubs...chatted bout where our 'great' club should be..yet other clubs with few finances and supposedly less passionate fans etc etc seem to perform ok....

I'm not worried about Collymore slamming our performance - but he laid into Gomes way way over the top.
Oh...and he's a dogger!
