Don't ask me why and how but i stumbled across a reasonably old CFC Forum whilst googling something and i found the read very interesting.

http://forums.cfcnet.co.uk/index.php?showt...=39758&st=0

Basically about hating the Spurs fans etc. Shocked of course that we can be hated so much i just had to keep reading (Like finding your wifes diary).

Plenty of hate until one member mentions the Chelski - Spurs game just after Matthew Harding died.

Well i was at that game (Disguised in the Chelski stand - tickets easy to get then at SB) and i must say that the Spurs fans were not only very loud during play but during the minute's silence they were perfectly quiet. You could've heard a pin drop. A very proud moment that was not wasted on them either.

I still remember watching the pint of guinness on the centre spot whilst quite eerily a helicopter flew nearby.

So Spurs fans, hats off to us!

COYS Too!!!

There's something not quite right about that site. There are more posts in the intelligent section than the not so intelligent forum. Guess the ****s on there can't read.

Spurs and Chelsea do have a pure hatred of each other which probably goes back to the 1967 FA Cup final. And long may that hatred continue!.They were scum when they were shite and they are scum now they are the whim of a Russian billionaire.
I think what I hate most about Chelsea is the fact that they make me think better of Arsenal. While Arsenal are scum, they are scum with a history, unlike Chavski.

Oh and another thing:It is correct that Spurs fans were silent during the minutes slience for Matthew Harding, just as they were during the minutes silence for David Rocastle at Highbury.Would our 'chums' from Chelsea be so respectful to us if we were having a minutes silence for one of our ex-players/managers?.

Spurs fans are probably the best supporters in the league. I've been away to Upton park and stamford bridge this season, and our fans don't shut up throughout the whole 90 minutes. We are noisy bastards with alot of chants lol

While I agree our away fans are quality, sometimes WHL can be a bit on the quiet side. The best atmosphere can definately be found from our away fans, if we go a goal down at home then it can be a bit of a library sometimes, unlike grounds such as Fratton Park and the Brittania where their fans will get behind them no matter what the scoreline

Spot on i saw a table in four four two magazine a few months ago and the decibel levels in WHL were second behind stoke so in terms of atmosphere and getting behind the lads we are second really. Its brilliant playing FIFA 08 or 09 not only do they have a realistic looking white hart lane but all you can hear in your home games is ''COME ON YOU SPURS''.

Christ, whatever happened to football being the peoples' game, and uniting fans from across the world in it's sheer entertainment. The lad's a Spurs fan, but Hull is his second team (or it maybe the other way round, doesn't matter) and now thanks to the fortunes of football Hull are in the Prem too.

I hope if by some miracle Scunny get to the Prem I won't suddenly be the subject of hate due to my "treachery"

Unfortunately for you Tiger Yid mate, your other team happens to be the arch rivals of Scunny, MY second team! So on your bike! :001_tt2:
