how the hell did he EVER get a permit towork in this country despite not coming close to fulfilling the required eligibility standard?

it reminds me of the summer bobby convey was denied a move to spurs yet tim howard, who'd played less games for USA than convey, got a move to man utd.

yeah, and how did convey end up at Reading when we were interested. if he was good enough for us then surely others must have been looking at him and it must have been easier to obtain a work permit for a more high profile club such as spurs

i don't think kalou will make it at chelsea anyway. if swp can't get in the side i don't see why he should, unless ofcourse swp is planning an exit.
