Can we change players before season starts?

Not entirely sure. Last season you were allowed one free transfer per week. I am not sure as to whether or not transfers made prior to the commencement of the season will be charged.

Ok, here is the definative rules for transfers. It appears that transfers made before the opening game of the season are free;

Help - Transfers
After selecting your squad you can still deal in the transfer market. Unlimited squad transfers can be made, 1 transfer can be made between each gameweek deadline without charge. Each additional transfer made in the same gameweek will deduct 4 points from your total at the next deadline. Free transfers are not carried over from week to week.

All transfers before the start of the season are made at no cost. For teams entering after the start of the season, no points will be deducted before their first deadline.

You can play 1 transfer wild card a season. When your transfer wild card is played, no points will be deducted for transfers that Gameweek. You play your wild card when confirming transfers.

Any transfers you make will become active at the next deadline.

Frequently asked questions
Transfers don't seem to be costing me points?
Transfer points will be deducted at the start of the next Gameweek. Transfers are free of charge before the season starts.
Can I cancel transfers?
No. Once you have confirmed your transfers they are final and can't be reversed under any circumstances.
I'm only receiving the amount I paid for a player, not their current value minus the sell-on fee?
The price shown on the transfers page is a players current value minus any sell-on fee. To check what price you paid for a player use the data view on the transfers page.

Ok I'm interested to know what Spurs players are being picked...

I have Robbo and Berba, at one point I also had Zokora, but decided against it for a more goalscoring midfield.

And on the Arsenal point, no way am I picking any of their players. Although saying that when we did this on the old forum (or a different forum I was on) the highest placed person without Henry was 14th.

Shalom mgrep, it is possible to change formation throughout the season. If your are playing 4-4-2, take and want to play 4-3-3 (for example), then all you need to do is take out the midfielder you don't want and then click on your reserve striker. Hey presto, you're playing 4-3-3. Hope that helps.
