We all remember them, we hate to talk about them, but what players do you regret most that have put on the white shirt?
Gary Doherty comes to mind initially.

Tony Gardener is the most recent example, but my favourite will probably always be Andy Sinton (he's got England caps you know!)

Oh the good old days.
I still think Stephen Carr was and is so overated. One of those who run around like a lunatic for ninety minutes and contribute nothing.thanks Mr Souness for taking him away.

sorry to be a pedantic nob but it was actually Bobby Robson that took him to newcastle

yer some scary names there. Dozzell was the worst for me, saib i can't even remember. I think andy reid will go on to be a top player, but isn't suited to our style of system where we need the left winger to be an outlet rather than a string puller.

I stand corrected, thanks Sir Bobby for taking Carr away. Worth a knighthood I would say.

He was Berti's mate, who was also an odd signing.

Ah, such geniuses. Iversen was actually a talented player in comparison to the others, it just never seemed to work out for him. Chris Armstrong seemed to score more when he hated the fans and refused to celebrate.
Personally, i was always a fan of Dean Austin. What a legend.

we have to give some respect to chris armstrong. do u not remember him scoring in every round (cept the final-he never played!) of the league cup when we won it?

And the goals he scored against Man Utd in that now hazy memory of a 4-1 win
