I was just thinking about how did harry persuade cuda to come to spurs, he couldn't have offered him backup keeper, especially as he will be getting a pay cut coming here. Or do you think harry promised him he will be his number one keeper if he impresses as he doesn't rate gomes?
Or do you think harry just wants two good keepers battling it out for number one jersey?
Who do you prefer gomes or cuda?

well i rate gomes atm
i neer really saw much of cuda
well hopefully that will change
i would like it so that they both often
play in goal....
coz if you think, they are both rested
a bit, meaning they would be on form next match
playing better that they would have....
if you get what im saying....:scared:

He offered him an 18 month contract, allowing him to stay in London for at least an extra year. With Gomes's injuries, he will play many more games than as a number 2 for Cech. He appears to be playing tomorrow and then Saturday. He has a realistic chance of becoming the first choice keeper. Gomes isn't a great favourite of Harry's. PSV are struggling in the Eredevisie and would welcome him back with open arms for a 2m profit. Even a 1m profit might do it.

Good questions. I would of thought that Redknapp mentioned something to Cudicini about fighting Gomes for the number 1 jersey IMO

I prefer Gomes, but I would agree that Harry has probably told Cudicini that he will be favourite for number 1 spot. Cudicini is (was?) amazing though, so I wouldn't be devastated if Gomes was replaced, but I think he's the man.

Mmmm i would personally be surprised if harry doesn't rate him, because i feel gomes has shown great character and played very well for a while now.
I suppose time will tell.
