i can't believe it, i thought he was one of the worst players in a good team. You have to be able to contribute more than running and short passes with ZZ, i could do that. Maybe it's because he wasn't played left side but i thought he was really average at best. I'll be gutted if we splash good money on him after those performances.

i would think he would go to arsenal if coming to london, although yaya toure seems a much better prospect. i just can't recall him contributing very much at all for france. The shout about ruel fox is about right. I'm sure he won't come cheap anyway.

i think his ugliness is down to two things

1) he was in a car accident when younger and i think they had to rebuild his face or at least some plastic surgery (aghhhhh thats not nice to hear , dont wish that on anyone )

I note only SingaporeSpur rightly pointed out that 'ugly' Ribery had his face eviscerated in a car accident when he was two. Hardly his fault...I assume he wasn't driving.

Also, I do not remember when Spurs had a desire to field only handsome players....(Ralph Coates anyone?)...though it was talent that counted, else most of the world's best would be ****ed - Zidane, Figo (horse), Ronaldo (donkey from Shrek), Ronaldinho (donkey from Shrek), Cristinao Ronaldo (13 yr old lesbian) etc etc

ribery wil go to lyon. i couldnt really care less if we miss out on him, he isnt fast or strong enough and he's just missing something a really great winger should have. he definately wont go to the arse, they already have a load of wide men and they wont pay anything like the asking price.

He's very energetic. You'd get 90 minutes of hard running and battling week in, week out. He's not perhaps the best at beating people and scoring, but he'll never give up. He's a persistant little beggar, with some good players around him, and a bit more space than you get against World Cup defenders, i think he could do quite well.


Having said that.... i'm not sure i would want him at the lane.
