I'm still really struggling to get motivated for the Carling Cup this year, even if it is a semi final. Watching the game on Sky Sports 1. Terrible conditions but thank God we have signed Palacios as we have no one to win the frigging ball.

Alnwick's position for the free kick is terrible, I can see why he hasn't started. Bentley is at least getting stuck in even though he was over zealous with one particular challenge. Hudd hasn' got on the ball and hasn't been able to influence anything...its weird I was shouting for the Hudd to get a game but this fixture would of the been last one I would of chose. He did put in two very good tackles in the closing stages of the half though.

Pav definitely to come on soon, we need two upfront proper.
