Redknapp has made Giovani dos Santos available for transfer, six months after the Mexico playmaker moved from Barcelona for an initial £4.7 million with the potential to rise to £8.6 million, depending on appearances. The deal also includes a sell-on clause of 20 per cent within the first two years, and 10 per cent thereafter. Dos Santos has attracted interest from teams in his native country.

If Dos Santos leaves. Then Levy will be kicking himself in the next 2 years or so.

I think Arry is trying to have an in depth team with cover in midfield, remember we have all complained about not having enough cover, thanks to the previos management selling quite a few players that could have been squad players.

Perhaps it means he just doesn't see GDS as an out and out left mid. Kinda see his point.

But read what 'Arry has to say about Taarabt... GDS and Taarabt are pretty much the same type of player??

because barca used him in a 433 on the RHS. He only played that position when a certain Lionel Messi got injured.

also the strikers arent bad at barca last season they had - ronaldinho, eto, messi, henry, bojan. How many strikers would get a start against that lot:scared:

he had 28 appearances for barca as a striker and he is still a teenager!

GDS wanted to leave barca and tbh he wasnt likely to get many games for them, they probably have the best set of striker in world football.

I dont like the way things are going, tho its all press at the mo.
Harry said he was looking forwards to seeing what GDS could do once back from injury.....well hes not back yet so.........
