this is following on from the

hissing is supporting neo nazis who often seek to down play the holocaust

we dont have monkey chants in prem stadiums and yet hissing is seen to be not as offensive.

so Juice is hissing part and parcel of our society? I have never heard hissing in my entire life apart from once when I was on the train to wembley (cc final) and the chelsea fans were giving it. I took great offence and got off the train and made a complaint.

If it is unaaceptable in public it should be unacceptable in a stadium (which is a public space)

I clearly state that i do not condone the Hissing and nor would i expect some people not to be offended by it. However, seeing as the majority of Spurs fans aren't Jewish then i actually think it's just a bad taste bit of banter which is wasted on most supporters.
As for Milo taking offense, well that surprised me because i had a feeling he had thicker skin and i don't think i personally offended him any more than usual, but we share harmless banter and always have done..

Firstly, I think it was incredibly unfair on Juice to start this thread, it should definitely have been done through PM, and I would be very pissed off if it had been done to me. It would seem as though JS and Milo, you have talked between yourselves, but not talked to Juice, and then just announced this accusation to the whole forum without him knowing a thing about it beforehand. If that's not the case, then I apologize, but I think it is. Fortunately though, Juice seems to have taken it rather better than I would have done.

On the subject of the thread, what I would say is that we have sort of created this problem for ourselves. When teams used to chant "YID" at Spurs fans, it was highly offensive. Then we took on the name, and used it ourselves, which was quite clever in a way, showing ourselves above the moronic abuse. However; that has almost certainly lead many to believe that it's alright to hit Spurs fans with Jewish related insults, when it's not. However, by chanting "YID", we are giving (in some people's eyes) the green light to racism. Milo touched on it earlier; you wouldn't hear a team with a large black support shouting "N*gger".
