It's a shame. I'd take him back with open arms.

Who really cares..He must have the easiest job in the world...just play champ manager and then sign some proven players such as deco with their limitless budget.

I had this conversation with someone the other day.

I said Sky Sports News was the TV equivalent of the Sun to which their response was - "Well the Sun is usually right".

I didn't bother arguing. I was too busy laughing.

Keane didn't leave for more money, just because he now gets more, that doesn't mean it's his reason for leaving. He's 27 (28?) and his boyhood team come in with probably his last chance to play champion's league football. I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

he is 28.

if that was the case he could have gone to celtic. cl football big ****ing deal, more like cl wages he gets £90,000-£100,000 according to reports.

Funny how I never heard his boyhood team was lpool until he was 28. :001_rolleyes: its just an excuse and makes him more liked by the lpool fans.

only in may he said he wanted to finish his career at spurs he loves spurs blah blah. I wasnt bothered he was leaving because I thought we had a better replacement lined up.

i assume that's sarcastic, so to clarify - you think cl football is an insignificant incentive for a player? that's obviously not true. And celtic is hardly the same standard as pool, look who celtic lost to on tuesday.

its not asa important as money.

arsenal= cl
ac milan = uefa cup

where does flamoney go. yep to ac milan, oh wait he has doubled his wage. I'm sure he is just happy there.

I can promise you keane wouldnt have gone to pool if they offered him the same as what he was on at spurs.

I suppose you think that is an isolated example, look at spurs

lee young pyo- cl-uefa cup
gomes ditto
hutton ditto
pavlyuchencko ditto

its all about money I have no doubt the players that moved to us have increased their wages. I am not criitcising a playre for moving for more money its hust a fact most of the time.

Look at lampard, ronaldo, eto all top players around the wall who obviosly want to be paid ridiculous amonts or they would have moved.

Didnt ronaldinho move to milan from a cl team.
