The players did not show that passion and determination that was displayed in recent games, Arry's magic wand is not that powerful to sort that out.

We'll see if Harry changes central midfield, otherwise ultimately they will sack him like they did Jol and Ramos. That has been the key issue for years, that, set pieces and general work rate.

That's the cancer at spurs, and the man who sorts that out is the man that will take us to the next level: really challenging the big boys in the league.

Bit early to talk about harry getting the sack. But JJ, Hudd, Zok, JOH are ****ing shit as soon as harry realises that we will be much better.

I remember on ssn harry said we have a soft centre so I hope that means JJ, Hudd are only squad players.

BRING IN DIARRA AND APPIAH NOW!!! Or at least put modric (weight isnt a ****ing issue) and charlie in there. How the **** do the scum manage denilson and fibreglass not exactly roy keane!A football brain is needed and if you combined jj,hudds and zok you might get a modric.

I am sick to death of people telling me DONT CHANGE A WINNING TEAM!!!1:cursing: :cursing: :cursing: looks like I was right then.

Looks like modric and charlie would be a massive improvement on JJ,Zok,Hudd. those 2 have a football brain and skill to match.

No point in having modic as a 2nd striker if you have those clowns behind him!!!!!!

Its better to have modric in a 442 because at least he is somone who can control a football game and create for the forwards.

No, I'm not talking about the sack, don't be crazy he's won five games and only lost one. All I'm saying is if he sticks with this central midfield like his predecessors then he is going to be in a world of hurt down the road, as it costs us so much. I predicted it with them and it is the same with Harry. Let's hope he doesn't fall into that trap as well.

Ps. JoH isn't shit, he's just young but has shown that he can give complete cm performances. His debut was unreal good, never seen a complete performance from any of the others mentioned.

Choda thats one good performance. He isnt as good as you think he is. Trust me I have seen him so many times and he isnt any better than dean marney.

If we have world class cm players then we would actually challenge the top 4 that is why we need to go and get a diarra and appiah to play in there.

Yea, I'm just saying it shows what he can do and that he has deserved much more time to develop in the role than he hasn't gotten. He's played about 5 matches in central midfield, if that at all. And he's miles better than Dean Marney, who I never fancied, head down brainless player, although JoH is limited as a winger, but that's not his position. He has a good brain, a sweet left peg and a great attitude. I think you are doing him a diservice. He may not turn out to be good enough, but he deserves a chance to show if he is, given the tripe that has been playing.

I don't disagree with buying Diarra and Appiah AT ALL. I'm your biggest ally in this argument my friend.

To be honest I made the comparison earlier of JOH and Marney being players who done well on their debuts but are just one hit wonders and u can tell them to be average players.

However, after JOH performance against Liverpool I feel I may have misjudged him a little and he definitely deserves a chance. The game today cried out for a player of his attributes and I cannot believe Harry missed that!

Today we played team a la Ramos with the weak centre mid of Jenas and Zokora both of those are useless a million times worse than Gerrard / Lampard combo lol

Ok I think we will agree to disagree on JOH. It seems me and you are the only ones who can see the central midfield area is an absolute shamles a disgrace in fact.

JOH could work out but I dont think it will. Until Jan we need mod and charlie to play in midfield

bent
pav

lennon mod corluka bentley
bale king wood hutton

But if we want modric to play in the hole it will be useless in the long term because he wont get the ball so therefore after Jan I would like to see:

bent

lennon modric bentley

appiah diarra

bale corluka wood/king hutton

Ignoring all the other posters highlighting it since you've been registered here, plus regular news reports that highlighted our CM as one that can easily be overcome, and you're right. :001_rolleyes:

Agree 100% but give them both credit for they must be the only people that can see out of their eyes! Or can they? Somehow we have missed the fact that our midfield is disgustingly bad...

Don't know how many times it's been mentioned...

Leave me out of it, I never said other people didn't see it. I'm only flabbergasted with the few that don't see it.

And I think playing Modric deep would not be a good idea right now as he has done well in the hole and it would be risky as he is very small. I'm all for trying it later but not now.

However Corluka is the nailed on choice for DM. He's so superior as a midfielder even at RIGHT BACK, as weird as it sounds. Every game he exerts as much or more influence on the build up as the central midfielders. Unless the Hudd is given acres of course.

we did change winning team, putting modric on the left, and lo and behold, out of his best position we lost all of the fluency that has been wonderful to watch in arry's opening games, and we lost. quelle surprise.

JS how on earth are you the only person who sees our central midfield as being shite! Everyone knows it. We should definitely try Corluka in midfield, but Modric aint going to be as effective there.
