It's gotta be said, it feels surreal to have him managing our club, just strange, I don't know why, I never ever thought he'd be a Spurs manager.
But you can just see that he's happy to be here, he is relishing the challenge and will get the players performing again. It's exactly what we need
So pleased to get the win today, it was so very important.

Utterly shameless interviews yesterday, mentioning he trained at the club when 12 and had been with John White, Dave McKay and Danny Blanchflower. How to make every Spurs fan go into wank mode - cite the key players from the double side. Not that I didn't lap it up and watch it repeatedly, because I did. Post-match he talked about the quality of Modric, King and Bentley, even stooping to defend Gomes for always being positive in coming out for every ball. But the one player that immediately benefited from the change was Modric, much as Merson had predicted, and I expect to see a lot more from him, giving the lie to Wenger's bullshit about him not being suitable for the Prem.

harry redknapp is an arsenal fan so I was very suprised to hear that.
I am very suprised everyone is already loving him

Why? He's down to earth, affable and clearly a good boss. He won't win us any titles, but he can certainly go a long way to getting out of this mess.

He's not an Arsenal fan, except he supported them as a kid. That is utterly meaningless. It's as relevant as JOH and Bentley having played for Arsenal. You need to stop judging people by the standards of having been fans of clubs when kids. For example, what did it mean to Sol Campbell to have been a Spurs fan as a kid, and then come up through the youth system? See? It means nothing, so judge people by how they conduct themselves and what they achieve, rather than meaningless inconsequentialities.

You beat me to it there jrio... Modric was the real deal today... shooting on sight of goal, glorious tricks all over the pitch, thru balls to Pav and Bent, and strong defensively.
Now, whos gonna back me up when I say Benoit A.E was outstanding today?

Not in our terms. For a professional, it's like an old girlfriend you had your first snog with. I don't place any store on Keane's move to Liverpool - without their success it's a bum move. It seems a pure career decision. Try explaining why those players Fowler, Owen, Carragher, McManaman and Ablett were so happy to turn out for Liverpool, despite supporting Everton as kids.

A guy on SO did, rated him at 8. For me, the weak header back to Gomes, and the poor cross for Bent said it all. Very flattered by playing against 10 men in the second half I think.

Now wasn't Rooney an Everton fan? Look at him the weekend kissing his shirt infront of the Everton fans!:sneaky2:
They don't care once they're pro's! They turn out mostly to do their best for the team they're playing for at the time.
TBH, if i was a Pro, i really wouldn't ever sign for anyone other than Spurs!
Well, except for my other team Stoke city!!!:001_tt1:

That from the guy that was wearing a t-shirt with the words "Once a blue always a blue" under his football shirt whilst playing for Everton's youth team!
