Any predictions for tonight? I think the Germans will sneak past the Argies 2-1, and the Italians wil lbeat the Ukrainians 2-0 (and it will be a dull game, and at least four Italians will fall down as if shot by a sniper on the merest of touches......)

I'm backing Germany to beat Argentina in a shootout and Italy should beat Ukraine, I'm going for 2-1, Shevchenko grabbing a somewhat meaningful consolation goal.

The Germans should win big as the only weakness of Argentina is central defense and they are atrocious with high balls. Klose will stand out.

Ukraine is here by accident and Italy shouldn't even break sweat in beating them.

Italy Ukraine, i reckon could go to pens again as Italy will crap their pants yet again at the possibilty of losing and so go all defensive , Ukraine wont be good enuf to break them down and Ukraine will win on pens with Totti missing if hes still on

yer i was thinking about what blatter said, germany were tight but poor offensively, but argentina didn't fancy it. germany have no pace at the back so i think we'd beat them easy. My worry is france, i hate them anyway but i tipped them at the start and i think the rest we can beat. Come on brazil!!

Ukraine played an alright game, could have grabbed a few themselves, they had the chances....Germany will definately beat Italy now.....And I was right I said Germany on pens!!! Well done to Odonkor for not going down when Tevez grabbed his throat, although I would have loved to see the **** get sent off!
