as regards newcastle 1st team not going in on the monday , i am a bit puzzled why and if i was a newcastle fan working in some shit hole of a factory , or sticking labels on bottles of ale , i would be fecking pissed off after spending my salary at the w/e watching them ,for that shower of shit to just have a day off .

I think the point about the "day off" is that they'd either played the previous day or were playing the next day and like with a lot of clubs were therefore not required at the training ground.

Have you listened to the tape, it's just brilliant, you can hear the fear in the hacks voices as they realise that Joe is their golden goose and it's just about to fly the nest.

The good thing about joes outburst was the media thought that they could make him an easy target, but boy were they wrong. He don't give a shit and i like people like that, he told them who was in charge and joes like that. I think that outburst will get the fans and the players on his side imo.

As much as i hate newcastle i would still like joe to do well, no one has given him a chance and would be brilliant if he came out of it with respect.
