i see the portugal players have started bitching about robbo, especially against ecuador where cole saved us. I don't think that was robbo's fault anyway although he was diving the wrong way for the shot. I think our defence and robbo have looked nervy. I think rio is ducking out, leaving terry as last man when it's rio who has the pace. Teams are obviously working this with their strikers also but we have to boss them, not get stuck in positions that leave us vulnerable.

If England had Dawson and King at the back in front of Robbo then there'd be no problem! :p I have to admit he isn't playing like the Paul Robinson we know, but then again he hasn't had much to do. I hope he keeps Pauleta out on Saturday then sportingly asks to swap shirts. ****in portugese ****.

Pauletta himself is the ****ing weak link in the front for Portugal and was substituted.

England's defence pool is the best in the world. No other nation has such depth and class players to choose from.
In saying that, Terry is still yet to establish himself for my liking, Judas is now a joke, Rio has certain lapses, Ashley Cole tends to **** up at least once a match. Neville is the most consistent player I would say. King's international performances have been different grade. Robbo has seemed unbeatable in an England shirt, at least until this World Cup as he seems that (maybe its nerves..?) he is letting mistakes creep into his game.

I think it is to do with the new ball. Robbo said so before the WC started that it is difficult to judge its flight.
Isn't it strange that all the sure shots have been acting like anti aircraft gun crew? Ask Lampard, Van Bommel, Carlos, to name a few.

Its this catch 22.... A Confident goalkeeper breeds confidence in a defence.... a solid defence breeds confidence in the goalkeeper
In with Campbell(watch the Sweden game) or Rio playing a defense in front of me, then I would be sh*tt*ng myself..... and if Terry aint playing well... then sh*t

Also a bit strange is every corner seems to fly over the whole penalty box.
It's actually Zokora who I think has been one of the best corner kick takers so far.

Exactly. the one game Robbo's conceded in the defence was as bad as his confidence, which makes sense. See, I know they're inexperienced at international level (well Daws anyway) but I reckon King and Daws in front of Robbo would be shit hot for England.

Ahaha Pauleta is shit and he thinks he's smart. I'm sure he believes that by going to the press with this that it will shake up Robbo. The fact remains that Robbo could be unconcious and Pauleta still won't score.

Well it just makes it better. Show the back page of The Sun to Robinson today. That should be motivation enough.

even though Pauleta is portugals top all time scorer he is still 33 and plying his trade in france. the french league is possibly the worst league in europe, barring the other leagues in the british isles. he wont score
