Well it's rather hard to tell that from that piece, lol. But yea, rumour has it Woody has had a few pops at him, and fair play to him, he deserves it for being a sulker and not giving his all in every game for the club he plays for and pays him huge wages.
Why the **** isn't Woody Captain is what I say? He is the natural leader. King is a great player, Tottenham through and through and a smashing lad but he's not a captain, he's too relaxed and he's going to be too reluctant to make a stand when necessary.
Vice Captain should be King, next Hutton, next Bentley (future Tottenham captain). Jenas would be way down on my list with squad members who can't speak English.

I was enjoying your post until I came to the end. Why did you have to start peterc off again. It is so obvious you personally hate jj ;) :)

I don't personally hate JJ but I think he's a very average midfielder and not even close to captain material.
He may get called up to the England squad occasionally but England are a very average(or shit) footballing nation and he never starts for them.
He's a great athlete but a crap footballer

That was the punchline mate!
And Peter starts Peter off, you don't even have to try to wind up Peter he does that all by himself, although I do find it infinitely amusing to wind up the maltese ****er.
By the way Peter Jol SUCKS, Jenas sucks shit off a bullcrap mountain and Capello is destined to fail as England manager. :p :p :D

Woodgate should be Tottenham captain, as simple as that. I understand why Ledley is captain, legend, hes been at the club longest etc etc. but woodgate just oozes leadership and when he was giving that interview today, he looked like the official team spokesman. I know hes had a troubled past, but he looks like the type of player who demands respect, dont you think?

All teams need leaders throughout their squad and I am sure Woody has the respect and the nouse to let loose on the field, the more players that take responsability on the pitch the better the team the performs.
At the end of the day the Captain flips a coin, hands over a pennant and lifts the cup, its all the mature players on a team that helps it perform IMHO.

you get a slight impression from the clip that woodgate doesn't want to see berbatov come tue!

Captain or not leadership is what we need and if he provides, becomes de facto captain it can only be a good thing!
