I don't know if I'm the only David Bowie fan who peruses these pages, but I can't be alone in being absolutely DISGUSTED at the ABYSMAL version of Heroes being used by ITV at the moment. Does anyone know which third-rate indie act are responsible for ripping the soul out of one of DB's finest moments...?

The actually gave details of it last week, I can't remember who it was though.

Stuart Pearce is pretty good too. You gotta love Pyscho!
But otherwise agree with you, it is appaling, with an ad break every chance they get, and am I the only one who finds the budweiser americans damn annoying!

Yes, but no-where near as painfully unfunny as the "Captions" during the Vauxhall ads in France 1998...they hurt with their lack of wit...

Well, of course not.... I think we need to start a chant at the Lane next season - Stand Up If You Hate Lawro. Simple, but effective. Especially when Lineker quizzes him about it on MOTD...

Despite the fact he is camper than a row of pink tents, Lawro can be relied upon to be occasionally witty. However, he is rarely complimentary about the Spurs. More than can be said about the shower of ITV: that fat bellend McCoist (will someone either tell him he isn't funny, or better still take him out with a high powered rifle), Townsend with his clutch of ex-fooballer cliches, Venables mangling the language a la Big Ron, Gullit struggling along, and Gabby wearing more mascara than Alice Cooper......
Give me the Beeb any day, even with Martin O'Neill, who looks/talks as if he has been heavily sedated.....

I'd rather the beeb, also I find 'Ian Wrong' highly amusing...it's great that they've got such a tithead in among the regulars....he never fails to come out with a brainless comment, it's great!

i'll keep gabby all to myself then mmm.
just tuned in for the italy v aus game on itv and they were saying that there have been arguments between the players about carrick's involvement in the ecuador game. Thought it a bit odd. I thought he played ok but the team wasn't really set up to utilise him. i think he should be playing instead of lampard he doesn't look himself probably because of ballacks signing, and then we can play hargreaves holding.
After seeing all the bookings portugal picked up, i think we must play lennon early as they will all have eyes on the semi-final, with a possible six i think who are on a yellow already.
