I don't think this will mean the end of Carrick's career at WHL - the plan seems to be to play him and Zakora in the centre and let Lennon and (hopefully) Duff cause devestation down the flanks.

That seems to be the plan, Carrick and Zokora together. But then again Carrick may be leaving and we could be replacing him with another target.

8mil for zokora is great business too considering the amount of plaudits he has received this World Cup.

I really hope we keep Carrick, and play Zokora in Davids position, sometimes pushing out wide and sometimes being in the middle of the park. And play JJ and Carrick in the middle, with Lennon on the right..

Then I think we should at least sell either Murphy or Ghaly and hopefully both, eventhough I haven't seen Ghaly yet I can't imaging him challenging for a place in the starting 11.

Then we should have Tainio as a cover for either Lennon, Zokora or JJ. Then we should have Hudd as a cover for Carrick. From what i've seen of Hudd, he could be one off the best players in the holding midfield role, I think even better then carrick.. The boy looks pure class and I think he should be given more first team chances next year..

i think we'll be switching to three across the middle.

carrick AND zokora is too defensive for the centre of the midfield so them with jenas makes more sense, with lennon and keane playing off berbatov.

Now we have, in the centre of the park, Davids, Ghaly, Huddlestone, Murphy, Tainio, Jenas, Carrick, Zokora...you've got to think at least 2 of them are going really. I would go for Davids, Ghaly and Murphy.
