Admittedly He had a decent Euro's but im starting to worry that we have missed our number one targets and the 'emergency' signings are being brought in.

He should of scored a few more at the Euros but did get himself into good positions invariably...I was impressed with him. It will be 15 mil minimum. A lot better than sum of the other names we have been linked with.

I watched him at the Euro's - i thought he was shit hot, Arshavin took all the plaudits in that team, i think he would be a cracking addition.

I reckon Arshavin will come too still, especially if this fella comes. A DM and CB with Berba heading out....that will do nicely.

Shit hot seems a bit excessive. He looked a useful player but not one I'd be inclined to shell out 15m for.

Just hope he“ll be better for us than Rebrov was...

This story looks like its starting to gather a bit of pace now on other sites. I dont think hes as skillful as Berba, but could definately fill his role.

Exactly the way I see it. Arshavin for Keane..Pavo ( I took the liberty of nick naming him!) for Berba.
CB and DM next.

One thing that was raised on SO a few days ago is that the Russian season is 5 months in, meaning by Christmas both Russians, if signed, would both have completed a full season.

Yeah I read that....at least they are both match fit! The second half of the season could be problematic but Ramos will know how to manage that. Slight concern not a major one.

At least they will get a break next summer, no biggie then as far as I am concerned.

Will wait to see it confirmed on the o/s before I get to excited, to much false rumours this summer flying around.

Palyochencko gets into good positions can link with arshavin but is not prolific he is not a clinical finisher from what I have seen of him (only euros).
He did score 2 goals against us though. Worried he could be another rebrov tbh.

That's the way he looks, very talented and intelligent but not a killer in front of goal like Huntelaar. Still a good player and I am happy to buy him. 15 million seems steep on a russian that may or may not cut it though. I'm much surer about Arshavin. But we can't be picky at this stage, we need the players.
Centre back and defensive midfielder now please!

Also one that, yesterday, had decided he had no interest in coming:
"I took the decision not to move to England. I can tell you that the deal will definitely not go ahead."

Maybe he“ s not prolific but if we want Bent to score goals, Ramos must play two upfront... Probably this partnership want be skillful like berbatov/Keane link up, but with Bale , Gio and Bentley“s delivery we might have good attacking options in the air after long time... I think that we“ll score many goals from set pieces this year...

I dont think hes good enough for the tottenham shirt tbh. I've only seen him in the euro's but he seemed to need a hat full of chances before he scored. £15m is alot of money for an unproven palyer in the prem. This proposed signing hasnt got the juices going if you know what I mean. The names Rebrov and Rasiak spring to mind:(

I don't think Ramos is going to play 2 strikers. All the pre-season focused on one main striker with variations in the midfield. I can't see that will be abandoned. If it is it will look like a panic measure. More likely we will switch between the 2, but I see that as meaning that we would usually start games with one striker.

even if he is a total flop he will be miles better than rasiak!!
we could play
pavlyuchenko
gio arshavin
modric dm bentley
bale wood cb hutton
I'm worried about scoring enough goals. gio, arshavin, and pavlyuchenko are not prolific.

Okay, something is going on here, bad journalism, a misinterpretation, a man who has completely changed his mind or just a load a guff on both occasions.

What a wonderfull life you lead.......
Anyone that thinks Dwight Yorke is a class DM, need his ****ing head examined.
Get in to tha club a big strong striker who can hold da ball up but also stick em away like Beattie, Zigic or Heskey and an experienced DM who will add abit of muscle to da midfield like Yorke or Frings.
Just go back to rocking in your chair.
