We start at bolton, then at home to sheff utd. we play man utd, the goons and liverpool away in the first few months of the season and have a home boxing day game versus villa and liverpool at home and pompey away over new year.

our run in isnt great as we have three home games and four away games from april onwards and we have two away games on the trot to boro and charlton sandwiched by the goons and man city at WHL on the last day.

id like to think we get a home maximum by the end of september with a point a-piece in each away game, optimistically.

also just had a look at the goons fixtures, after our home game at the new dump, they play champs league then chelsea. and our home game they could have a champs league semi final. Also chelsea is their last home game. lets hope they go all the way to the final and lose again.

I'm pleased with those fixtures, there seems no good or bad run and everything is just scattered about.

Can someone find out when all the UEFA fixtures are and put them in?

If we can really sign Zokora and a LM, we might even think about getting our first win at Manure for quite a while.

If we get Zokora and a LM we should be able to beat any team, and I would say we should be able to challenge for the 4th spot and the CL..

That's almost dead cert.

I would love to see a five-team battle for the title next year, ending with us pipping the scum to it at the last game....how satisfying would that be!

If only....

at some point last season MJ said he aimed to trasfer Spurs into title challengers within 3 seasons, trying not to get ahead of myself but it could happen, we're definately heading in that direction

A LM to go. Ideally also a RB.

I can't remember a season so balanced, no nasty months featuring at least two of our rivals at the top of the table.

Yep.. Far be it from anyone here to condone the activities of the minority, but you just know the repair bill following our debut visit to Trashburton is gonna be higher than Wenger's annual expenditure on vaseline...

I've got a line of cold beers for whoever brings me a seat from Trashburton...if there's a few we can have a bonfire in my garden..a little damage to the ozone layer is a small price to pay!

i like the fact that we are playing man utd and liverpool away so early , both slow starters , or maybe just tend to come good at the end , hopefully a lot of their team will be suffering a bit of a hangover from the world cup as well , where as i dont think we will be so affected .

the main concern early season is Carling cup round three, go on the reserves, and fitting in the UEFA cup mickey mouse parts against Andorra and Luxembourg and some ex russian state no doubt sandwiched in between Chelsea and A N Other weekends

Our progression under Martin Jol...

04/05: 14th - 9th...5 places

05/06: 9th - 5th...4 places

06/07: 5th - ???...? places

the trend suggests 3 places higher than last season ;)
