Quoting from the sunday papers,Peter Kenyon was asked about the lack of
competiton at the top of the premier league.
"there are teams like Tottenham,Villa,Everton and Newcastle who should be
knocking on our door.It is a question of them getting their own house in order, rather than us coming down to their level".
wtf? lets get a few things clear Mr Kenyon.
In the last 4 years Chelsea have posted losses of over 380 million pounds.
In case it had slipped your mind, you lost the CC final to one of those
"lesser" clubs.
Chelsea have a sadly underwhelming history and even with all your money,
you cannot rewrite history,so that people will forget the fact that in the
early '80's Chelsea were getting crowds of 7-8000 a match.
Likewise people will not forget your cock for brains fans booing not only the
oppositions black players, but also YOUR OWN.
Any trophies you win will be totally stripped of any glory, which befits your
fake club, fake fans, fake players and all your other hangers on.
you plastic mass marketed ****holes.

I stopped reading anything Kenyon said a long, long time ago. The slimey git is full of himself it's unbelievable. This is the Chelsea that last season came 2nd in the League, 2nd in the Champions League final & 2nd in the Carling Cup final.

No prizes for coming 2nd.

chelsea are a joke. I pity them seeing a plastic souless club who are a billionaires toy. Abramovic is chelsea.

Abramovic will go one day and then so will chelsea hopefully. I despise them just as much as arsenal (well nearly)

If Peter Kenyon was involved in a freak accident involving a deckchair and a demolition ball, it would make a very nice early xmas present.

Look at the champions league final . Man Utd had Bobby Charlton leading them up the steps to collect their medals. Then Chelsea had Peter Kenyon
leading them...... which wasn't just a low point for football, it was a low point
in human history.Hastingsyid is quite right in saying that we all know that Chelsea are shit, but someone needs to tell Kenyon.
In fact he needs it tatooed on the underside of his eyelids.Oh and when
Abramovich walks away, who do you think will be the first rat to desert the
sinking ship?.

Kenyon is a PR Man, a ringmaster, a used car salesman selling a second-hand football club to the world trying to convince them its a Rolls Royce.

The Bobby Moore situation was ridiculous, but what was Chelsea going to do? Get Kerry Dixon to lead them up the steps?

In that case then Shuggie, you're right. If it was the managers that lead the teams up the steps, then no one would say a word.Chelsea put themselves in
that position and they rightly have to take any flak thrown at them.

That is my point. Chelsea are manufactured, no Bobby Charlton's, no real legends of the world of football, so who they going to send up? I guess they have Osgood (is he still alive?). I suppose Dennis Wise could have done it, but he was busy visiting Barton in jail.

Kenyon probably said "Don't worry lads, I'll lead you up the steps". The man is the definition of hubris.

Any team without a balance sheet is not a real club.
