Cerny was a good second keeper but we have to remember if we sign stephan who i think is a **** for personal reasons he will only be second choice. Gomes will allways be playing unless of injury or red cards ect.

The guy talks shit about other keepers, slagged of robbo saying he is shit and then concedes 4 goals against us after saying that, looks like a **** and played for the hammers.

I just can't stand the fella ever since he slagged off robbo ive started a personally vendetta against him. I hope ashley cole runs him over on his quid bike!:eek:

Robbo had bags of potential when he was younger but as he got older he lost his edge and self-doubt crept in. I think he's got mental short comings that will always hold him back from becoming a top keeper. You could say he doesn't have the bottle he's a scary big ****er.

You need to be kinda mad to be a top keeper really a ****ing nutter and have the ability to throw yourself in harms way without even thinking of the consequences. Robbo doesn't have that in him but Gomes does in abundance.

i thought it was some kind of sick joke when i heard it but it looks like we will be signing him. i absolutely cannot understand this one, we have Alnwick, had Cerny - 2 capable number 2's, both a lot better than Bywater. furthermore there are hundreds of better options than bywater. im baffled at this decision.

Yer but its hard to get a cracking keeper in to play second fiddle to a keeper like gomes. I hate the bloke he comes across as a thick head but we have a top keeper coach and maybe just maybe he can improve stephan.

I would of brought kasey keller in as second choice.

Not fussed by this at all. He's going to be the back-up keeper and if the coaching staff feel they can make something out of him then so be it. I'm just glad we're not spending alot of doe on a back-up keeper.

Staff think he's not up for scratch, it was said soon after he joined. The very reason I believe Oscar Jansson was out in Spain and he was not, also. He was out there for a week but went home.

Alnwick played 90 mins for the Spurs XI against R&D last nite... we came from 2-0 down to win 4-2 (Pekhart hattrick.) Sounded like Alnwick had a so-so game.
