Watching the Tunisia-Spain game last night I was really impressed with Trabelsi, could be ahndy signing on a free. Full of running, attacking, good in the tackle, decent cross.
That showing will have probably alerted a few other supposedly "bigger clubs" though!

He said before the world cup that he had already agreed terms with a club.. Roumors at that time said it was Inter, but i'm not sure any more... We'll see what happens after the world cup..

I think he signed a preagreement with Milan i could be wrong but he has been one of the best R/B's @ The World Cup at the moment.

I think he was quoted as saying he will be going to a EPL club and will anounce it after the world cup (which should be any day now)

Of all the EPL clubs of note, only us and perhaps Manure would be looking for a RB; and as they already have Neville, we should stand a better than 50-50 chance of getting him.

not sure if i want babel to play the argies tonight, as think robben will be rested due to his booking. Might be better he doesn't get a game and rocket his price up. or do a knee.

Babel will be fantastic for us, but haven't read anything linking him to us. All the time it was just fans hoping aloud, me included.

in the last friendly he played, where he scored and missed a sitter, the commentary said something about barca tracking him. Doh

It seems our Dutch connection doesn't reach very far. It only reaches back for has beens like Davids.

Saying that I thought Babel was very average today. mind you he only played 15 minutes!! :p

He showed a few nice touches and a couple of dribbles think he had the Argies a little bit worried the Dutch grew stronger when he came on but 15mins was'nt really enough.

The thing I like about him is he doesn't take the Dutch dive every time someone touches him. He's got the tenacity to get up and tries his best to retain possession. He did a couple of those today.
