This was posted by Rob not long ago on COYS. I think Rob runs SC. I believe it may be of some use hopefully for a few of us.
We're just testing it out as we're not coping with the doubling in traffic recently and had to do something (I'm writing a strongly worded email to Prof for culling so many people and dumping them onto us ;-)).
As someone above mentioned, we've had a "ITK Read Only" thread for a while updated with ITK from all the forums and websites. I know some people like this and some hate it but it's there for those who want it.
What we've done now is syndicate that through RSS and also import that RSS into blogger.
The blog's here: http://scitk.blogspot.com/
And the direct RSS feed is here: http://feeds.feedburner.com/SCITK
These are both direct copies of our ITK Read Only thread so as soon as anything is posted on SC, it's updated to those links as well.
Depending on which RSS reader you use, that might introduce a delay in refreshing but the blog and feed link above will update instantly.
I guess if everyone here has survived the cull it's not that useful for you as you have COYS but if you know anyone that missed out etc and they can't get onto SC or FTL, etc because we're all so busy it might give them a bit of relief so feel free to pass it on.
Hopefuly Prof and the mods don't mind me posting this here but if anyone does object I don't mind if my post needs to be deleted. :-)
