What an entertaining first half. Great goals from van Persie and Kone. Zokora hit a marvelous shot against the angle of the post and bar and had a hand in the Ivory Coast goal. Also booked for nothing.

Zokora does look very good indeed. I believe his ready of the game is such that he can get into an attacking position to help out if it is needed. This is something Carrick lacks, or perhaps he does see it happening, but just doesn't get into those positions.

From what I've seen of Zokora so far....he looks a far better player than Carrick. I agree, he is top of my wanted list. Cracking shot, cracking game....Ivory Coast definately don't deserve to be out. Stunning goal from Kone also.

Zokora does look amazing, i think we will definately sign him if carrick leaves for Utd, if he does sign and carrick stays it clearly means the end for Murphy/Ghaly, 1 or the other, probably Murphy
