Berbatov and Keano are in Spain with Ramos, Poyet and Alvarez so it's all looking good on that front at the minute. It's been a relatively slow transfer window so far so the papers and fake itk keep regurgitating old shite.

It's also great to see the scum losing both their first choice holding midfielders and another starter. Flamini, Hleb and Silva all gone so far and more to follow hopefully one being the lancky African streak of piss.

We don't need to put in a bid for Bentley as we are in negotiations with Blackburn trying to work out a deal that they will accept. Bentley isn't interested in Villa who have bid, and it's just a lengthy process as BB screw as much out of selling Bentley as they can.

Well Lennon has already said that he's going nowhere and that Ramos seems pleased with him. I think that as Lennon has said he wants to improve, then Ramos has given him that chance, but only as a second choice to Bentley, who he see's the best option for the role, particularly when Bentley would favour a Spurs move and is stronger in a lot of area's. We all know at the moment how Ramos is focusing on strengthening his midfield and i think he has many plans like this, to build a strong first choice midfield and a strong bench, with Bentley as his next, ideal target.

Anyone think that Capel could still be on the cards, I mean signing Capel and Bentley would probably mean Keano leaving as well as Berba, as we would need a loan striker. I really hope Keano isn't leaving of course.

Although a midfield with Bentley on the right, Capel on the left and Dos Sontas playing off a loan striker (like Santa Cruz) with the Hudd and Modric centrally sounds pretty good to me!

Actaully spent more in petrol getting there I was trading a car in against the new one, my old car was turbo charged, 200 bhp, and the way fuel costs were going, had to get rid!!!! So I got one of those new sporty wee volvo's...c30 its called, its nice and am well happy as they were about 2 grand more in Belfast, so overall I saved just over a grand...allowing for petrol, and the ferry etc..

Oh yes it has Sat Nav..I love it!

Yes, but a lot hinges around the machinations between Pool, Villa, Blackburn and us, which will lead to a number of deals all being done within days of each other.

Ramos has just said the Luis Garcia transfer had no substance behind it, but that Berba and Keane aren't certainties to be here for next season. I think Keane will be, as selling your 2 main strikers would be a hammer blow to fan morale unless players like Villa, Eto'o etc could be bought.

Potentially we'll get £25-£30m for Berba, £15-£20m for Keano, and another £20-£25m from the sale of the fringe players (Steed, TT, et al).

I'm staying optimistic, but I reckon someone HUGE is coming in. Or maybe a small number of quality players in key positions? Just some fuel for the fire to keep us from getting depressed from losing our dynamite front two.

May I also add, that I see Bent staying and getting 25 goals for us this season!

Not true, had several over the years, it's just that all bar one have been so small as to not be worth cashing the cheque. The plc make quite a bit of revenue from uncashed dividend cheques I reckon.

Once we start raking in some cash, the Bentley bid will be upped. I really hope Berba goes to Barca, but that wont happen, 99.9% to utd I would say.

I could see Tainio, Mal and Chimbonda at Sunderland with Kaboul going to Pompey. Personally I would loan Kaboul out, and if he's doing well recall him in January.
