Mentioned it numerous times that he would be a fantastic addition....far superior to Zokora in my eyes..Modric and Diarra over Jenas and Zokora!?

All i will say is if we buy the players that it seems like our first choice then this would be our team.

modric
keano
villa
santos
lennon
diarra

Bolton will have a field day.

We would lack height and physical stature!

Who cares how many teams he's had? A class player is a class player mate, and Lassana Diarra is definately that.

Couldn't agree more. Diarra has had some outstanding performances for Pompey, I knew he was good before he joined them, but since getting a regular run in a side, he's gone from strength to strength. I would love him to sign for us as I know he would improve our drastic midfield exponetially(pre Modric -that wouldn't be hard though!)....:p

I didn't once say in my sentence that he wasn't i just stated that he's had more teams than u can shake a stick at and that he has a bad attitude and thinks he's better than he is. Whats to say if we dont get champs league and he does what he's reportidly gonna do to pompey and shit on them and leave after pretty much half a season?

How many clubs did robbie have before joining spurs? But i can't see him joining us at this moment in time. Also there other dm out there who are just as good veloso and a few in spain.

LOL im just having a moment mate he is a good player!! Robbie's a bloody gypo compared to Diarra lol

Ahh Veloso wont be coming to the lane i think AC are in pole posistion so dont be suprised if Gattuso rocks up at in england because he wont wanna be on the bench

I would love Velesso, of course, but Diarra is the more realistic target.

I really do worry with set pieces because if berba goes and we buy villa than we will struggle.

Also we have a few players who like to kick the ball long i.e daws, hudd. I just hope we can mix it up a bit because berba height and strengh was real handy against the more physical teams.

And, if you read back you'll see that I never said that you said he wasn't class! Chill out man, you said 'I don't want him', so I made my point that he shouldnt be overlooked on the grounds you mentioned in that particular post.
